Error- Hong Kong's All-Rounded Boy Group
Error is a 4 member Hong Kong boy group formed by contestants of the Goodnight Show, which is similar to Produce 101 Season 2. Season 1 of the Goodnight Show resulted in the formation of 2 groups, Error and Mirror. Mirror is more similar to your conventional boy group. They have visuals more loved by the general public. If you want to learn more about them, please read my dedicated blog post about them. Error, on the other hand, is a "funny"/"comedic" boy group. Though they do release music (great music btw), they are more active/recognized as variety show guests, hosts, actors, and comedians. The members are generally not visuals by society's standards and all are very unique from each other. I think they really broke the stereotypical boy group mold and I am living for it.
First, let's get to know the 4 members.
肥仔 aka Fatboy aka 梁業
Birth Year: 1990
Position: Leader, Center, Main Vocalist, Main Dancer
Fun Facts:
- is a dance instructor and taught Edan of Mirror prior to them participating on the Goodnight Show
- while on the Goodnight Show, he was often the dance mentor for other participants
- though he has a chubbier stature, he shocked the judges and viewers of Goodnight Show with his amazing dance skills and nice vocals
- has a solo song called Lady Killa
193 aka Denis Kwok aka 郭嘉駿
Position: Visual, Cutie, Sub-Vocalist, Sub-Rapper
Fun Facts:
- he is 193cm (approximately 6ft 4 inches) so he was recommended by the producer of Goodnight Show to make his stage name 193
- he broke his arm while participating on the Goodnight Show and that has been a running gag ever since
- has his own YouTube channel: Denis Kwok 193
- went viral for being a savage and dissing TVB
- has a solo song 睡到三點
Dee aka 何啟華
Birth Year: 1990
Position: Sub-Leader, Main Rapper, Lead Dancer, Composer, Song Writer
Fun Facts:
- was a member of the YouTube channel 學舌鳥 Mocking Jer and known as 華Dee for impersonating Andy Lau's 日日去鳩嗚
- was active as an actor prior to participating on Goodnight Show. Some of his work included The Gigolo, With Prisoners, and 我和金像獎的距離.
- was a member of 香港男子鎖舞隊 aka Hong Kong Men Locking Crew along with Mirror members and his close friends Alton and Lokman
Poki aka 吳保錡
Birth Year: 1991
Position: Rapper, Youngest Member
Fun Facts:
- often jokingly referred to as 八兩金 for looking similar to the actor
- went on hiatus for a while for being caught in a cheating scandal with Hong Kong model 張沛樂
- has a lot of solo songs (released under his own name rather than under his company)

Songs
Though they haven't released much, all of their songs are bops. Unlike Mirror which goes for more dance-pop songs, Error's songs are more reminiscent of 90s or early 00s Hong Kong pop which is straight up my alley. Sadly, they do not release a lot of music. You can tell the company prioritizes Mirror musically as they have twice the amount of music videos and many members have well-produced solos. Initially, Error's music felt more like parodies and was for comedic purposes. However, it seems the company is giving them more opportunities to release music that is not just for comedic purposes and some members even have solos.

This is their debut song. It is a parody of Mirror's 一瞬間. The members wrote their own lyrics for the song. The lyrics poke fun at Mirror members and Error members brag about how they will beat Mirror as the more popular boy group. If you know Cantonese this song is hilarious and very catchy.
