Jackson Wang

As my blog title suggests, I focus on Kpop, dramas, and more. Up until now, all of them are drama related, so I decided to do one related to Kpop. I didn't know what I should do it on, so I decided to do it on one of the rising stars in the variety/entertainment world, Jackson Wang of Got7.

I am obsessed with Mr. Wild n' Sexy, which is how he refers to himself. Some background info about him is that he was a national youth fencer before he joined JYP Entertainment. He is now in a boy band called Got7. He is one of their rappers and a great dancer who specializes in martial arts tricking, which is similar to Taekwondo. He is from Hong Kong, and his parents are gold medalist winning gymnast and fencer.

He shot up to fame after being in Roommate Season 2 and Hitmaker as Wang Kong. 

ROOMMATE

He is a regular cast member of Roommate Season 2, a show about celebrities living together. Season 2, in my opinion, is so much better than season 1, because the new cast is funnier and they do more interesting activities. The relationship between the cast members is an improvement compared to season 1. Jackson and Kara's new member, Youngji, are the maknaes (youngest). They bicker every day about everything, especially Jackson's height. Their back-and-forth banters are hilarious. Jackson and Joon of the popular boy band, g.o.d., are two of the three foreigners that bring us joy. Their "American style" is always a great laughing point. Jackson also has this crush on Gook Ju and ends up fighting for her with the handsome actor, Seo Kang Joon (from Sly Single Lady). Jackson is definitely the star of this show; he never fails to give us a good laugh. I love this show so much and I highly recommend it. 

HITMAKER

The two hilarious MCs from Weekly Idol become producers and lyricists. They recruit four idols to form their own boy band. The four members are Jackson from Got7, Sung Jae from BtoB, N from VIXX, and Hyuk from VIXX. They now have new names. Jackson is now Wang Kong, a combination of his last name and hometown, Hong Kong; Sung Jae is called Yookduck, which means 6 virtues; N is now Dolbakee, which means Beef Brisket; and Hyuk is Hyukdi, which means Belt. The group's name is Big Byung, which means Big Bottle. They do not have a consistent leader. The MCs struggle due to Jackson, because his Korean isn't that good. They have 2 songs now, with my favorite being their debut song, Stress, Come On. 

 People need to know more about this sweetheart who brings laughter to everyone. Please support him, and I how you love him as much as I do.
